About Fede


Bio

Fede grew up playing team sports. He was (and still is) a very active kid, which meant he always wanted to run an extra lap during training. If he was not stealing bases, he was running the veer option on the football field. A close friend introduced him to endurance sports, by inviting him to run the Chicago Marathon to raise funds for St Jude Children’s Hospital. As stuborn as he is, he showed up to the start line with just a 3-mile shakeout the day before. Of course, he blew up but was happy to have finished what he started.

After being in endurance sports for years, and training with the best in the industry, he is now a smarter athlete. Fede takes training seriously; always looking for marginal gains, studying new trends and ways to optimize performance using science and technology. He believes that if you keep track of your progress using a scientific approach, the road to success becomes a clearer path. As a coach, he loves helping others accomplish their dreams, whether that is finishing an event or qualifying to World Championships. He is a good listener, a very important quality for being a coach.

About Fede

Bio

Fede’s areas of interest and expertise are physiology, aerodynamics, lactate testing, ketones, and metabolic flexibility. His coaching approach and style is focusing on the athlete’s goals in order to create a tailor made plan. Everyone needs different stimulus at different times and knowing that gives the opportunity to maximise time and resources. From being coached by Fede you will see tangible progress month by month and you will be closer to your athletic goals. He enjoys coaching all athletes, from new to triathlon to the season veteran and numbers geeks like him. Fede holds his athletes accountable for success by creating a short, mid, and long term plan of action which we can both measure progress with specific metrics.
